MONSOON

The English name monsoon, was also derived from the Asiatic word mawsim meaning seasons. The definition includes major wind systems that change direction seasonally.

Mahn Soon, is the seasonal wind that blows over the northern part of the Indian Ocean and Arabian sea, and its surrounding areas. Monsoon blows from the southwest from April to October and blows from the northeast from November to March।

Generally, monsoons are formed by the difference in the heating and cooling of air over land and sea.
